"Je souhaitais concevoir un film comme un petit bijou sur une page Internet. C'est une vidéo aux 'rayons X", qui oscille entre statue, objet mort (la porcelaine de l'oiseau) et être vivant ou revenant (l'oiseau qui vole en sens inverse) La dresseuse pose aussi en statue quand ce n'est pas l'oiseau qui la cherche sous le chapeau. L'essai étant toujours de passer la bague au doigt, le coeur comme attachement et détachement, sans qu'il reste, car l'animal est rebelle, la perruche bleue à collier, rouspète. Je souhaitais que les taquineries ne soient pas univoques mais provoquées par l'humain ou l'animal, dans les interactions de jeux démos pour passer l'ennui et créer du hasard sonore et visuel. Le déguisement est le chapeau noir, le "black hat", le méchant pirate, qui, en fait, est un chapeau blanc, un "white hat", un héro. Les deux 'hackers' sont des chevaliers du Web. Dans le film, tel le hacker, la magicienne est un bidouilleur. On ne sait pas ce qu'il (elle) trafique, juste qu'il y a de l'amusement et de la surprise. L'image fantôme restitue des jeux rapides dont les sons deviennent aussi des artefacts."

Cette vidéo a été conçue dans le cadre du projet "Magic Ring", un ensemble de sites Internet d'artistes liés les uns aux autres sous la forme d'un anneau, exposé dans l'espace virtuel du Musée du Jeu de Paume à Paris (commissariat de l'exposition "form@ts" par Christophe Bruno), du 16 mars au 16 juin 2012.

"I wanted to design a film like a small jewel on a webpage.
